This is one of my favorite strollers! BOB Revolution CE is great for walking around the neighborhood, long walks in the park, and light jogging.
This CE (City Edition) model is designed for active parents who like to walk more than run. This is NOT a power jogging stroller. If you are looking for a jogger, the SE (Sport Edition) model would be a better choice.
I like to go for light jogging, but more often prefer to walk. We have a lot of trails near my house, so I typically put my baby Sophia in the stroller, grab my phone, keys, and my little Yorkie (in this order), and walk out of the house.
Sophia usually falls asleep within the first 10 min and I have some time to call my friends to catch up.
Since I always have my phone in one hand, I push the stroller and hold the leash with the other. The stroller has to be easy to push and navigate in order for me to do it all at once.
Well, the CE model is truly a one-handed stroller. I don’t recommend it for shopping because it is very wide (25.5″) and very long (51.5″). You will be constantly hitting display stands with the front wheel.
In comparison with the SE model, the CE is more compact and weighs ONLY 23 lbs which is pretty light for this type of stroller. It can hold a child up to 70 lbs (that is how much an average 8-year-old child weighs) and has a swivel front wheel that can be locked or unlocked depending on the activities.
OVERALL
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because it is full of great features like a roomy seat, huge canopy, large basket, and state-of-the-art suspension system.
The only two things I would add would be an automatic lock and an adjustable handlebar. It costs around $380 – $470 depending on the seller

Features
CANOPY
The canopy is to die for! It’s absolutely huge with the biggest peekaboo window I have ever seen on a stroller. I am one of those noisy moms who always want to see what my baby is doing (maybe she is looking to the left, maybe to the right. LOL).
A large canopy is one of the most important features for me and this canopy definitely hits the mark. Love it! With 5 positions, it will keep your child shaded at all times.
HANDLEBAR
This stroller has a single non-adjustable handlebar that is covered with soft foam. I wish it was adjustable. One of the security features of this stroller is a wrist strap that is attached to the padded handlebar.
It’s actually proved to be very useful. The small Yorkie that I often take with me when I walk with Sophia is very hyper.
I don’t know how many times it suddenly pulled my hand and I lost the grip of the stroller. Those little dogs get so much strength when they see a squirrel.
The wrist strap made sure the stroller didn’t run away from me. I think it is a nice feature for when you walk. I am not sure how well it would work if you fall while jogging. It might pull the stroller down with you.
SEAT
The seat is very comfortable. It is made out of durable water-resistant material that is easy to clean. The back and the bottom of the seat are nicely padded. The seat reclines to an almost flat (down to 70° from vertical) position.
When cleaning the fabric, it is not recommended to use the detergent. I wish it would be machine washable, but it is not.
There is a storage pocket on the back of the seat where you can put all your small stuff like a change of clothes, diaper, pad, and wipes.
That way you don’t have to take the whole diaper bag with you if you go for a walk near your house. There is no parent console included. You will need to purchase it separately.
HARNESS
It has a 5-point adjustable harness (like most strollers) with padded straps and a center release buckle.
BASKET
The basket is large and easy to access. After looking at a lot of strollers, I noticed that many of them have very small unpractical baskets. This one is great. Big plus!
WHEELS
It has 12″ air-filled tires and lightweight alloy wheels. You do need to add some air once in a while to keep the tires filled. If you get a flat, don’t worry.
It can be easily fixed by replacing the inner tube. If you don’t want to do it yourself, take your stroller to a nearby bike shop and they will fix it for you.
Many jogging strollers have a permanently locked front wheel which makes it hard to use for anything but jogging. A straight wheel will decrease maneuverability and make it hard to navigate in tight spaces. On this stroller, you can lock or unlock the front wheel with one twist of knob.
The state-of-the-art adjustable suspension system allows you to change suspension depending on the terrain making the ride very smooth. You can easily push this stroller with one finger.
BRAKE
It is located in the back between the rear wheels. It’s very easy to reach and can be pushed with one foot. It’s not flip-flop-friendly.
FOLD
While it is a two-step fold, it’s easy. Unfortunately, you will need both hands to fold this stroller. It does NOT stand on its own once folded. Since the wheels are smaller than on the SE model, it is not as bulky and will fit in most of the trunks.
There is no automatic lock to secure the folded stroller. You will have to lock it manually by using a clip attached to the wrist strap. I wish I didn’t have to use both hands because I am always carrying something (child, purse, diaper bag, phone, etc.
Forget about purses! It has been permanently replaced by a diaper bag :( ). The folded dimensions are 39″L x 25.5″W x 16″H.
Cons
-Handlebar. A non-adjustable handlebar is the number one complaint for this stroller. If you are much shorter or much taller, it might be a problem for you.
-No automatic lock. You have to bend down and manually secure the folded stroller with a clip. I started to have back problems after having my baby so I try to avoid extra bending and lifting heavy weights. This brings me to my next suggestion…
-Two-step fold. Why not one step? A lot of strollers have one step one hand fold. That way, you can hold your child in one hand and put away the stroller with another. Simple! It would be also nice if the stroller would stand on its own when folded.
-No cup holder. I need my coffee in the morning and a bottle of water if I am jogging or power walking so a cup holder is must have.

These strollers are almost the same. Here are some differences:

Accessories
The same accessories work for both CE and SE models. You can purchase separately the following things:
– Car seat adapter. You can use it with Britax B-Safe, Chaperone, Graco: SnugRide, SnugRide 30, SnugRide 32, and SnugRide 35. Peg Perego : Primo Viaggio SIP , Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30. Chicco : KeyFit , KeyFit 30. It snaps into the same spot used for the snack tray. It can be purchased for around $46.
-Snack tray. A must-have item. I wish it would come with a stroller. This snack tray can be used with Ironman, SE, CE, Strollers Strides, and Sport Utility models. The Motion model has a different tray. It costs about $24 on Amazon.
-Adult console. The adult console is one of the items you need to purchase separately. It is made out of high-quality durable material. It has a pocket in the middle and 2 bottle holders on each side.
I know it adds up, but It is hard not to have a bottle holder. You can put a bottle into the back pocket, but it is hard to reach when you are jogging. The price ranges from $25 -$43.
-Weather shield. Great for rainy days when you want your child to sleep outside. Also, if you are going for a jog and there is a chance of rain, take it with you just in case. You don’t want to run back with a wet child in a stroller (happened to me once before I purchased the cover).
I was 15 min away from my car and it started to pour. I covered my daughter Sophia with my jacket and ran back as fast as I could. Sophia was laughing and didn’t seem to mind. We were both soaking wet by the time we got to the car.
It really sucked. I was just afraid Sophia might get sick (thank God she didn’t). So, get the cover! It works only with Revolution SE, CE, and Stroller Strides. Ironman, SUS, and Motion models have different shields. It can be bought for about $40.
– Fleece seat liner. It’s called BOB Warm Fuzzy. Keep your baby warm during the cold winter months. It doesn’t provide that much warmth, so I didn’t buy it. It costs about $35.
-Sun shield. This elastic shield will protect your child from the sun, wind, and flying insects. Great for when your baby is sleeping. It also provides additional shade. It costs about $55.
-Travel bag. Great for people who travel a lot. This bag will protect your stroller from opening and scratches. It is not cheap, but is made out of high-quality material. It has little wheels for easy maneuverability. It is sold for around $79.
Where to buy it
You can get BOB Revolution CE in one of the two beautiful colors for around $305.
