The Britax B-Agile 4 is the same as B-Agile only with four wheels. As soon as Britax released it, I got a lot of emails from parents asking if four wheels are better than three.
I think that four wheels are a little more stable when you go over terrain, but three wheels are easier to navigate when you are on a flat surface.
Also, keep in mind that strollers with four wheels weigh more because of that extra wheel.
The B-Agile weighs only 16.5 lbs, while B-Agile 4 is 20 lbs. The 3.5 lbs is not a big difference, but it can be a pain especially if you have a baby in one hand and trying to fold and load the stroller into the car with the other.
Just like the original model the B-Agile 4 is a great stroller for on-the-go parents. You can take it to the park, mall, grocery shopping, or doctor’s office with no problems.
The hard rubber tires are not all-terrain but will tackle some grass, mulch, or uneven pavement. B-Agile is one of the most popular strollers in the US. It has even made it top 10 best strollers list. Many celebrities picked it over expensive luxury strollers.
The B-Agile 4 also has that easy one-hand fold and so many great features like a huge canopy, very roomy seat, mesh window, and a large basket.
Besides the basket underneath, there is also a large storage pocket on the back of the canopy where you can put small items. It also has a travel system capability and even comes with a Britax infant car seat adapter.
OVERALL
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because it’s a great quality stroller for a great price. The only thing I would change is the non-adjustable handlebar. I would also add a cup holder.
For those parents who only want to buy one four-wheel stroller, this would be a great option! You can get the whole travel system with a B-Safe 35 infant car seat for around $300. No cup holder is included.

Features
CANOPY
It has a very large two-panel canopy that will provide your child with full sun coverage. It does not have a ‘follow-the-sun’ option.
There is a good size peekaboo window made out of dark mesh with a MAGNETIC closure. Many luxury strollers still use noisy Velcro, so this is a nice surprise. Love it! Overall, great canopy.
HANDLEBAR
This handlebar is not adjustable but is a good height. It’s located 39″ from the ground. Of course if you are much taller or much shorter it might be a problem. 39″ is an average height for handlebars.
SEAT
The seat is 14″ wide with a 20″ seat back and a measurement of 25″ from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy. The seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs.
It has a high leg drop with nice durable material at the bottom where your child places his feet. It has a deep one-hand strap-system recline that goes to nearly a flat position so you can put a newborn into the seat. As with most strap reclines, you will need both hands to bring the seat back up.
Once the seat is reclined, you can expose a large mesh window in the back by rolling up the closure. This nice mesh window provides better air circulation on a hot summer day. If it’s cold, you can always cover it.
HARNESS
It has an adjustable padded 5-point harness with an easy-to-unlock buckle. This is no re-thread harness. To adjust it all you need to do is to unzip the material in the back of the seat and slide the harness up and down. Easy! You don’t even need to take your child out of the seat to adjust it.
STORAGE
There is a large storage zipper pocket in the back of the canopy. It can fit a lot of small items like cell phone, keys, and wallet.
WHEELS
It rolls on four hard rubber wheels with 6″ wheels in the front and 9″ wheels in the back. The front wheels are swivel but can be locked straight for rougher terrain.
This is not an all-terrain stroller, but it will handle mommy terrain with no problem. It has great maneuverability and can be pushed with one hand fully loaded with no problems.
BRAKE
There is a single-foot brake that locks and unlocks both rear wheels. It’s not flip-flop friendly, but is very easy to unlock so you CAN do it with flip-flops on.
BASKET
For such a light stroller (20 lbs) this is a great size basket. I would say it is medium to large. You can definitely fit a large diaper bag in it. It is very to access from the back and also from the sides.
FOLD
Oh, we all love one-hand fold! Just like in the regular B-Agile, there is a handle in the middle of the seat that you need to pull to fold the stroller in half. They’ve added an automatic swivel lock that can be moved away if you don’t want your stroller to lock automatically.
It has a very compact fold and should fit in any trunk. The weight is a little higher than the original because of the fourth wheel at 20 lbs. The folded dimensions are 23″W x 29″L x 10″H.
CAR SEAT ADAPTER
INCLUDED! The click-and-go adapters work with BRITAX CHAPERONE and B-SAFE infant car seats. The great thing is that you don’t need to remove them when folding the stroller.
Very convenient. You can also use it with popular car seat brands including Graco, Chicco, and Peg Perego with a BRITAX infant car seat adapter (sold separately).
Cons
-Non-adjustable handlebar. The handlebar is 39″ from the ground which is great for average-height parents. If you are much taller or shorter it might be a problem.
-No cup holder. I wish there was a cup holder included.

I’ve had this stroller on my baby registry for a few months now and Toys R Us and other retailers are no longer carrying it. I can’t find it anywhere. Do you know why? Perhaps a recall . . .
