I have been getting a lot of emails asking which stroller is better BOB Motion or Britax B-Agile, and today I want to post a side-by-side comparison for you.
BOB Motion is the newest addition to the BOB line of strollers. It’s a lightweight compact stroller that is designed for everyday use.
The 4 air-filled tires and all-wheel suspension provide a smooth ride over rough terrain. BOB Motion is full of great features like a huge canopy, roomy seat, adjustable handlebar, and one-hand fold.
All this goodness weighs 23 lbs and costs around $349. Here is a detailed review of the BOB Motion.
The Britax B-Agile is one of the most popular strollers on the market. It’s light, compact, and has one-hand fold. It rolls on three rubber wheels that are designed for flat surfaces and not for rough terrain.
B-Agile features a roomy seat, huge canopy, all-wheel suspension, and flip-flop-friendly brake. All this goodness costs around $250 and weighs only 16.5 lbs. Here is a detailed review of Britax B-Agile.
Side-by-Side Comparison
-Canopy. The B-Agile has a bigger canopy that goes all the way down to the bumper bar completely shading your child. The Motion has also a large canopy with a dark mesh peekaboo window.
The Motion’s peekaboo window is larger than on B-Agile. Although both strollers have a great canopy, I think I will give a canopy to B-Agile.
-Handle Bar. The handlebar is better on the Motion model since it’s adjustable and goes from 32″ to 42″, while B-Agile has a non-adjustable handlebar located 40″ from the ground.
-Basket. Both strollers have a medium size basket, but I like B-Agile more because it has elastic sides making it easier to access things from the sides.
-Seat. Both strollers have roomy padded seats with a one-hand strap recline system. I like that B-Agile has an insert for extra support for a newborn. I am giving seat to B-Agile.
-5 point harness. They both have a 5-point padded harness with a round center release button.
-Mesh window. Both strollers have a large mesh window that you can see once you recline the seat. It provides extra air circulation but can be covered if the weather gets chilly.
-Wheels. Motion rolls on 4 air-filled wheels while B-Agile has three rubber wheels. As you’ve probably guessed, Motion has better wheels that can easily tackle all-terrain. Wheels on B-Agile are designed for flat surfaces in an urban environment.
-Weight. The main selling point of the B-Agile is its weight, ONLY 16.5 lbs! It’s a lightweight stroller that can easily compete with umbrella strollers. The Motion weighs 23 lbs which is the average weight of a full-size stroller.
-Price. The Motion costs about $350, while B-Agile is more affordable and can be purchased at $250.

Wheels | 4 wheels 10″ and 7″ | 3 wheels 9.5″ and 5.5″ |

As you can see, the main differences between these two are the wheels, price, and weight. If you want an all-terrain stroller that is heavier and more expensive, you should go with Motion. But if lightweight is more important for you than all-terrain tires, then B-Agile is the stroller for you.
