Maxi-Cosi Adorra 2016 Travel System Review

maxi-cosi-adorra1There was so much buzz around new Rachel Zoe Collection and Quinny Reversible Seat Jogger at the Maxi-Cosi booth at the ABC Kids Expo 2015, that I almost didn’t notice a new travel system called Adorra. This is a great new addition to the Maxi-Cosi family that many parents will like because it is stylish, simple, and very practical.

The Adorra travel system comes with a reversible-seat stroller and a matching Maxi-Cosi Mico Max infant car seat. It looks pretty sleek. I like the combination of the black frame and dark fabrics with some gray pattern.

The Adorra stroller has a lot of great features like large canopy with a pop-out sunvisor, deep one-hand recline suitable for a newborn, removable machine-washable liner, adjustable leg rest, huge basket, and telescoping handle bar. This puppy weighs 26 lbs, which is about average weight for the full-featured reversible-seat stroller.

Rachel Zoe x Quinny and Maxi-Cosi Collection 2016

quinny-moodd-rachel15I have to admit, I am guilty of watching Rachel Zoe reality show. But, in my defense I watched it because I love fashion. Before having children Rachel Zoe could care less about kids stuff, but after her first son was born she got obsessed!

She kind of remind me of myself, because I was so into my career as a web designer I never payed attention to parenting stuff. Now, look at me, I am obsessing about every new stroller I see and have a web site about it. LOL. Funny how kids completely change us.

Since Rachel Zoe is one of the best stylist I was happy to see she decided to do a new collection for Quinny and Maxi-Cosi. This is one of the most luxurious collections I’ve seen on ABC Kids Expo 2015.

Maxi-Cosi Kaia Stroller Review

maxi_cosi_kaia1The Maxi-Cosi Kaia is a lightweight umbrella stroller that designed for on the go parents who likes to travel, go to the mall, or run errands around town. The Kaia model has a small foot print making it great for navigating narrow aisles of the grocery shops and public transit.

The small 5″ hard rubber wheels perform best on the flat surfaces. Although there is a rear suspension system, taking over grass or mulch will be very bumpy ride.  I wouldn’t recommend it for long walks in the park. The basket is a great size for an umbrella stroller. You will easily fit a large diaper bag in it. I really liked the easy compact fold on Kaia. It will definitely fit in any trunk. Another cool feature is an adjustable leg rest that will provide your little on with more leg room.

What really separates Kaia from other umbrella strollers is the ability to turn into a travel system with an addition of an INCLUDED car seat adapter. It is compatible with Maxi-Cosi Mico or Prezi infant car seats ONLY!  It is also very compact and can stand on its own when folded. The standing fold is an important feature for parents who live in an apartment or go to restaurants often. Such a space saver!
