The Cybex Agis M-Air3 is a lightweight full-featured stroller that you can use every day for running errands or going for a walk at the park.
This model is a serious competition for the beloved Britax B-Agile because it has a lot of similar features and then some.
Just like B-Agile, it has a large canopy, deep recline, large basket, all-wheel suspension, flip-flop friendly brake, and a very roomy seat.
It rolls on three hard rubber wheels that are not all-terrain but can handle uneven pavement or some mummy terrain like mulch, grass, or gravel.
The seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs. You can also convert the M-Air3 into a travel system or a pram by replacing the seat with a Cybex infant car seat or a bassinet.
But that’s not all. The three features of M-Air 3 that B-Agile doesn’t have are an adjustable handlebar, a swing-away bumper bar (included), and a standing fold. Despite all the extra features, the M-Air3 weighs only 17 lbs!
The one-hand fold and standing fold make it perfect for public transit. You can hold a child in one hand and a stroller in the other one.
Now style-wise, if you compare the two, M-Air3 definitely wins. It has more modern colors, a slicker frame design, and cooler-looking wheels. I also don’t like that the new B-Agile 2016 model doesn’t have the footrest, so your child’s legs will be just hanging.
Btitax decided to get rid of the footrest because of the tipping hazard (older toddlers kept stepping on it to get into the stroller), but now there is no footrest at all! Check out this chart to see how Agis M-Air3 compares to the other Cybex models.
OVERALL
I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because I think it’s a step up from B-Agile. It has more features and more modern design. All other main competitors in the same weight category like B-Agile, City Mini, and Armadillo don’t have an adjustable handlebar or bumper bar.
The M-Air3 could be your ONLY stroller that you can use every day and travel with. The price is also very reasonable in my opinion.
It comes in five beautiful colors and retails for around $269. The bumper bar is included. All other accessories need to be purchased separately.

Features
CANOPY
It has a large three-panel canopy with one mesh zipped-in panel that can be exposed when needed. The canopy goes all the way down to the bumper bar providing plenty of coverage.
The mesh panel is used instead of the peekaboo window because there isn’t one. I wish it had a closure for when it’s windy or sunny.
SEAT
The seat is 13.5″ wide with a 20″ seat back and a measurement of 26″ from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy. As you can see, the seat is a little wider and the canopy is a little higher than on Cybex Balios M which has a reversible seat.
Your taller toddler will have no problem fitting in. The seat has a strap recline system and goes to almost a flat position suitable for a newborn. You will need one hand to recline the seat and both hands to bring it back.
If you want to put a young baby into the seat, I would recommend using an infant insert for additional support. The seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs.
HARNESS
It has an adjustable padded 5-point harness with a center release buckle. The good news is that the waist straps are connected to the shoulder straps so there are no puzzle pieces. Very easy to lock and unlock.
HANDLEBAR
The telescoping handlebar goes from 37″ up to 42″ from the ground. Great for taller and shorter parents.
BUMPER BAR
INCLUDED! It comes with a nice swing-away removable bumper bar.
BASKET
The basket is large but is a little harder to access than on Cybex Balios M because of the lower position of the seat and the crossbar.
You will be able to fit a larger diaper bag in it plus some small essentials.
BRAKE
It features a flip-flop-friendly brake. No more shoe scratches! Why can’t all strollers make this kind of brake?
WHEELS
It rolls on three hard rubber wheels with 6″ in the front and 9.5″ wheels in the back. These wheels are designed for everyday life like going to the park, mall, or running errands.
They are not all-terrain like on the Cybex Balios M but can handle some uneven pavement, grass, or mulch.
The wheels are almost the same size as on Britax B-Agile. The front wheel is double and can be locked straight for rougher terrain.
Like all Cybex M models, Agis M-Air3 has an all-wheel suspension.
FOLD
Another great feature that ALL Cybex M models have is the ONE-HAND FOLD. This is the type of fold all parents are looking for. All you need to do is to pull on two straps located in the middle of the seat and the stroller will fold in half. Easy!
The fold is very compact and there is an automatic lock and standing fold. The folded dimensions are 30″L x 22.5″W x 14″H.
For comparison the Britax B-Agile folds to 29″L x 22.75″W x 10″H. While the B-Agile is a little more compact, it does not have a bumper bar nor an adjustable handlebar.
BASSINET OPTION
You can turn your stroller into a stylish pram by replacing the seat with a matching bassinet called Cybex Carry Cot M.
It features a comfortable, extra-wide mattress that ensures an ergonomically correct and comfortable lying position.
The integrated UVP50+ sun canopy protects from sun, wind, and rain. The carrycot weighs only 8 lbs and can accommodate a child from birth and up to 20 lbs. It works with ALL Cybex M models. How great is that?
TRAVEL SYSTEM OPTION
You can also convert your stroller into a travel system by using it with one of the Cybex infant car seats.
You can put the car seat on top of the main seat without removing it, or you can remove the seat and put the car seat right into the frame.
I like the look of the Cybex infant car seat with just the stroller frame. Looks slick!
Cons
-No mesh window closure. The large mesh panel is a big plus, but I wish it had a closure in case it’s windy, rainy, or sunny.
-Works only with Cybex car seats. I wish it would work with other popular car seats. While the Cybex car seats are at the top of my list, they are a little pricey. So it might be hard to afford for parents who are on the budget.

Hi Katrin,
I am wondering what the major differences are between this and the City Mini GT? I would love your opinion on which you prefer. I’m looking for a stroller to accommodate a tall child. Thank you!
What infant insert would you recommend for the stroller? Thanks!
I was just curious how you would compare this to the Baby Jogger City Tour? I am looking for a light, easy to use, easy to maneuver stroller for everyday errands.
I am looking for these kind of 3 wheel stroller, with adjustable foot rest. When reclining, I want to have the foot rest UP to make a full reclining. Could you give me your recommendation? Bumbleride Indie looks good but like to compare others.
Where can I get it in the tan and black as pictured here? Can’t find it….
how tall is the seat back?
Hi! We have a Cybex Cloud Q carseat and are looking to buy one of theses stollers. Do you know if they are fully compatible? That is, if the cloud q is able to be in its horizontal position while in the stroller?
Thanks in advance!
